On 23 July 2026, a Government-to-Business (G2B) meeting was held in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Representatives of the Yangi Avlod Special Industrial Zone actively participated in the event as part of the Tashkent city delegation.
During the meeting, the investment potential of Tashkent and the favourable conditions and opportunities available to investors in the Yangi Avlod Special Industrial Zone were presented to the leadership of the Korea Export-Import Association (KOEIA) and representatives of leading South Korean companies.
The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation in such areas as industry, logistics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, artificial intelligence, water technologies and other promising sectors.
The forum also included bilateral meetings with representatives of the Korean business community. The discussions focused on implementing promising investment projects, establishing new business ties and developing long-term cooperation.
The Yangi Avlod Special Industrial Zone continues to expand its engagement with international investors, contributing to the development of modern industry and the strengthening of a favourable investment climate in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
